Indian mattress sizes
Length always comes first. Most brands make each size in more than one length, so check yours before you order.

How to measure your cot
Measure the inside of the frame, where the mattress will sit, not the outside of the cot. Use a metal tape and write the numbers down in inches.
- Length: measure from the inside of the headboard to the inside of the footboard, on both the left and right sides.
- Width: measure from one inside rail to the other, at the head end and the foot end.
- If the two readings differ, use the smaller one.
- If your cot falls between two standard sizes, don't round up. Send us the exact numbers.
- For length, a useful rule is to choose a mattress about 6 in longer than the tallest person sleeping on it.

Which thickness should you choose?
Most mattresses are between 4 and 10 inches thick. Thicker doesn't mean firmer or better. It usually means more comfort layers on top of the support core.
- 4–5 in: lighter and easier to move. Often chosen for kids' cots, guest beds and hostels.
- 6 in: a common everyday thickness for single and double cots.
- 8 in: room for more comfort layers. Many spring and memory foam models sit here.
- 10 in and above: plush, layered models. Check that your headboard still shows above the mattress and that sheets will fit.

Common questions
What size is a queen mattress in India?
72×60 in (6×5 ft), 75×60 in or 78×60 in (6½×5 ft). Measure the inside length of your cot to know which one you need.
What is a king-size mattress in feet?
6×6 ft (72×72 in) or 6½×6 ft (78×72 in).
What size is a 4×6 mattress?
A 4×6 ft mattress is 72×48 in (183×122 cm), the standard double-cot size.
What size is a single-cot mattress?
72×36 in (6×3 ft) for most single cots, or 72×30 in (6×2½ ft) for narrower ones.
My cot measures 74×58 in. What should I buy?
Between sizes, a standard mattress will either leave a gap or not fit. Send us the measurements or a photo with a tape measure on WhatsApp, and we'll suggest a custom size through the brand.
